Let's make money....

If you are hardworking and creative, there are plenty of ways to earn some spare cash.

Get Creative
if you are crafty and creative, why not use your talents to earn a few ringgit? Try making crafts, jewellery, knick-knacks, t-shirts, or pretty much anything that people may want to buy. Start off by selling them to close friends and family. If you do well, you could expand your business.

Be Brainy
Are you a whiz at numbers or a champion in language? If so, why not share your knowledge with others and make some money in the process? Besides that, giving tuition to those younger than you is a great way to revise your own studies too. You could start off with your siblings or cousins, and then maybe children is your neighbourhood.

Clear out your closet
When was last time you were that t-shirt sitting in the back of your cupboard? Do you even remember reading that book you bought seven years ago? Selling items you no longer want, or use, can bring in a surprising amount of money. You could sell them to friends and family members, a second-hand shop, or even online. As a bonus, you will have much more spare in your room. Just don't sell anything that isn't yours!

Getting odd
Most families have many, many odd to do around the house that never have the time to get around to do things like washing cars, gardening, sweeping the front porch, etc. This is where you come in. Ask if anyone around your neighbourhood would pay you to do various little jobs for them. If you are really good, you might even have permanent customers. But first, make sure your parents know the people whose houses you're going to work it.

Do You Compute?
You may be able to create folders in a snap and browse the net like a pro, but not everyone is as tech survy. Giving computer lessons (to both children and adults) can be a great way to make a few ringgit. Nothing complicated: most people just want to learn how to send e-mails, type documents and surf the net. So, put all those hours of sitting in front of the computer to good use.

Talent time
There may be many skills or talents you have that others may need, try teaching them to others for a bit of cash. Skills like playing a musical instrument, dancing, painting or making handicrafts are things many people would love to learn, so why not from you? Not only will you be improving your skills, you will probably have a great time doing something you love.

Work It
If' you're old enough to get a part-time job & can balance your studies with work, then there are many openings out there. Fast food outliers, shops and offices have many positions available for young people. There positions are a great way to get some job experience and learn how the working would functions.
